Fun@4 is an all-age, intergenerational service at 4:00pm, especially for families but open to everyone. With music, stories, prayer, and creative activities, it’s a relaxed and joyful way to explore faith together across the generations.
Within the Fun@4 stream we offer three different services, each with its own different flavour:
- Café Church at Welford (2nd Sunday of the month)
- The Welcome Patch (our allotment church) at Naseby (3rd Sunday of the month)
- Pizza and Praise at Clipston (4th Sunday of the month)
All three services include food, and children are always welcome to be fully involved. Each gathering offers a friendly, informal space to share worship, community, and hospitality, while exploring faith in accessible and creative ways.

Pizza and Praise - Clipston Village Hall
Pizza and Praise meets in Clipston Village Hall at 4pm on the 4th Sunday of each month. Each service has an engageing theme (eg. Lost and Found, Protect, Resiliance, Forgivness).
The service begins with refreshments and a chance to catch up with each other. We then sing some contemporary worship songs with live music before hearing a short, relevant talk. After, we split into either discussion groups or creative activities to explore the theme further and consider what it might mean for our lives.
We finish with a time of prayer and reflection, followed by a final worship song.
After the service we end sharing pizza together— hence the name Pizza and Praise!
All are welcome to Pizza and Praise.
A visual timetable is also available. Please contact Rev'd Tom for more details.

Cafe Church - Welford School Hall (WSSES)
Cafe Church meets in Welford School Hall at 4pm on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Each service has an engageing theme (eg. Lost and Found, Protect, Resiliance, Forgivness).
The service begins with refreshments and hot dogs and a chance to catch up with each other and a short activity based on the service theme. We then sing a contemporary worship song, often sung at the school, before hearing a Bible Story, and a short relevant talk.
After, we split into either discussion groups or creative activities to explore the theme further and consider what it might mean for our lives.
We finish with a time of prayer and reflection, followed by a final worship song.
The service lasts about an hour.
All are welcome to Cafe Church.

The Welcome Patch - Naseby Allotment and the Methodist Chapel
Cafe Church meets in Welford School Hall at 4pm on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Each service has an engageing theme usually along the lines of growing, nature and faith.
Starting on the Allotment we begin with an introduction to the theme, and a creative retelling of a bible story before taking part in an activity on the allottment to get us thinking about ourselves, faith, God and nature.
We finish our time together back at the Methodist Chapel for Cheese toasties and other goodies.
The service lasts about an hour.
All are welcome to the welcome patch.

What to expect if you’ve never been before
If you’ve never been to on of our Fun@4 services before, you can expect a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere.
- Come as you are – there’s no dress code and no need to have been to church before.
- It’s informal and family-friendly – children can move about, ask questions, and join in, and adults are encouraged to do the same.
- We worship together – there’s no separate Children’s Church; instead, we share music, stories, prayer, and activities across the generations.
- Food is part of what we do – each Fun@4 service includes something to eat, because sharing food helps build community.
- You’re free to join in as much or as little as you like – listening quietly is just as welcome as getting involved.
Fun@4 is a place where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcome, and relationships matter. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or have been part of church for years, there’s space for you.
We’d love you to come and try it out.
